Karl received his Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the University of Washington in Seattle, WA under Jack Clay. He began his teaching career there, teaching undergraduate acting. Upon graduation, he headed to Los Angeles to begin his career in television and film.  In 1996, Karl found his creative home with Larry Moss at the Larry Moss Studio and has studied with him ever since.

As a working professional actor myself, I am committed to providing the safest environment possible so that your deepest, most authentic self is identified and acknowledged. Without a strong sense of self, the art of acting will always remain elusive.  I am a firm believer in ‘deliberate practice’. Actors must train like professional athletes. I am only interested in working with brave and hard working actors.

There is NO auditing at the studio in order to create the safest environment possible that is free from outside judgement.
